Responsibilities
- Develop platform-level automation and orchestration components for deploying, configuring, packaging, and managing application workloads.
- Build automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Shell scripting across Linux and Windows environments.
- Create and maintain container images, Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and deployment packages.
- Automate application installation, configuration, service management, environment setup, health validation, logging, monitoring, rollback, and retry workflows.
- Integrate automation components with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
- Develop APIs, CLI tools, and platform services for automated provisioning and environment management.
- Implement secure handling of credentials, certificates, secrets, and configuration parameters.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Automation Development, DevOps, or Infrastructure Automation.
- Strong Python programming experience.
- Hands-on expertise with PowerShell and Bash/Shell scripting.
- Strong experience administering, deploying, and troubleshooting Kubernetes.
- Experience creating and maintaining Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of Docker containerization and image management.
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and automation frameworks.
- Experience developing APIs, command-line tools, or automation services.
