Responsibilities
- Build and optimize common web patterns used by frontend engineers to create product features.
- Build tooling that enables engineers to test, debug, and profile frontend features.
- Build scalable desktop infrastructure with deep operating-system integrations.
- Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners while solving complex technical problems.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Must graduate before Summer 2028.
- Working toward proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Previous internship experience.
- Ability to solve problems thoughtfully, adapt to changing priorities, communicate technical ideas clearly, and collaborate effectively.
- Experience building or prototyping features with AI technologies such as LLMs, embeddings, or machine learning is valued.
Benefits
- Estimated New York City hourly compensation is $57 for bachelor’s students and $61 for master’s students.
- Summer internship dates are May 24–August 13 or June 14–September 3, based on the intern’s schedule.
- The internship is onsite and requires working from Notion’s New York office.
