Responsibilities
- Build new features and creative workflows for Lightspeed’s omnichannel hospitality product.
- Design and develop elegant, functional web applications for the backoffice platform.
- Support existing partner integrations while expanding features into new markets.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers, Platform Teams, and development leadership.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, brainstorm solutions, and implement improvements.
- Advocate for code quality, ownership, and infrastructure health.
- Share knowledge and best practices to help elevate the engineering team.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS.
- Knowledge of React.js, Next.js, or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform issues and solutions.
- Experience developing a back-end-for-frontend layer.
- Familiarity with writing end-to-end tests using Cypress and maintaining high coding standards.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience with mobile-first application development, modern cloud infrastructures, and UI/UX design is preferred but not required.
