Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of major systems and services.
- Build and optimize scalable, reliable, maintainable web and service-oriented software solutions.
- Collaborate with solution managers, engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
- Identify and resolve complex, high-priority issues in development and production environments.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
- Evaluate and implement technologies, methodologies, and AI capabilities to improve engineering efficiency and software performance.
- Ensure functional and performance requirements are met through rigorous automated unit, integration, and other testing.
- Work additional or irregular hours as needed and follow applicable security policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 8–12 years of related work experience.
- Experience designing and developing web applications and SOA or microservice-based architectures using C#, MVC, RESTful Web API, and SQL.
- Experience with Python, generative AI, React Native, JavaScript, Angular Material, and TypeScript is preferred.
- Hands-on application development, software development lifecycle, debugging, and performance-tuning experience.
- Experience with NUnit, xUnit, or a comparable unit-testing framework and Git.
- Experience with cloud technologies, Azure Pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, DevOps, and SRE is preferred.
- Healthcare industry experience and basic understanding of HL7 standards are preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods.
