Base Salary
$35k - $65k/yr
Responsibilities
- Complete challenging technical assignments that provide real-world experience on technology projects.
- Work directly with CNA developers on application development, DevOps, and business applications and services.
- Use public cloud platforms and apply software engineering practices including Test Driven Development.
- Participate in training covering technology, the insurance industry, CNA, and the role of technology in insurance profitability.
- Engage in professional and personal development activities, feedback, coaching, and meetings with senior technology leadership.
Requirements
- Be a sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduate student, or a first-year master’s student, pursuing Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related degree.
- Maintain a minimum 3.00 overall and major GPA.
- Have coursework or knowledge in object-oriented programming, Java, data structures, web development, SQL and database fundamentals, information security, application security, and systems and network architecture.
- Have interest in the insurance industry; previous work experience is preferred.
- Demonstrate organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, analytical, leadership, teamwork, and independent-working abilities.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
