Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze engineering and business data to identify AI/ML opportunities.
- Develop core use-case functionality under guidance and progressively work independently.
- Design and implement procedures and workflows for AI/ML projects.
- Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy solutions.
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and other project deliverables.
- Lead small AI/ML projects under the supervision of the enterprise AI/ML engineering team.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior undergraduate or graduate student studying Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience using Python and AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, with an understanding of AI algorithms.
- Proficiency with VS Code or another programming IDE and willingness to learn code-assistance tools.
- Ability to quickly learn company-specific software including Agentic AI, LangChain, LangGraph, Genie, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Desired qualifications include at least two years of Python programming experience and the ability to solve problems quickly.
- Strong self-direction, work ethic, ownership, collaboration, time management, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Must be currently enrolled in school; applicants who have already graduated are not eligible.
