Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop cloud-based solutions that support regulatory requirements and customer experiences.
- Use programming languages, databases, containers, orchestration services, and AWS tools to build software.
- Provide technical leadership across teams, establish design and development standards, and mentor engineers.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Identify improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt, optimize performance, and influence long-term technology strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 7+ years coding with multiple listed languages, database experience, cloud experience, open-source contributions, frontend framework experience, API development, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, AI coding tools, mentoring, observability, and large-scale technical leadership.
