Responsibilities
- Build production systems that real customers and real money depend on.
- Own features end-to-end from design through deployment and ongoing operation.
- Lead and participate in technical design reviews.
- Use AI tools daily and help advance their use in software engineering.
- Review code, mentor teammates, and raise engineering standards.
- Bridge infrastructure and product concerns.
Requirements
- Deep software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems others depend on.
- Strong fundamentals in at least one general-purpose programming language and the ability to learn new languages.
- Experience with relational databases and reasoning about performance at scale.
- Ability to communicate clearly, write design documents, provide useful code reviews, and explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Miami, Toronto, or Seattle.
