Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for .NET APIs and Node/Nx monorepos.
- Build and maintain Azure infrastructure and automate application and infrastructure deployment with Terraform, Bicep/ARM, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Manage Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, self-hosted agents, environments, approvals, and deployment tooling.
- Troubleshoot application deployment, runtime, networking, and infrastructure performance issues.
- Monitor availability, scalability, and security using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and alerting practices.
- Lead .NET, Node LTS, and Docker base image upgrade programs and coordinate APIM integrations.
- Run server patching, capacity planning, performance engineering, and automation programs.
- Manage secrets, service principals, managed identities, Entra ID, and RBAC.
- Operate vulnerability remediation workflows with Qualys, Mend, and Wiz and reduce the vulnerability backlog.
- Contribute to architecture reviews and change management processes.
- Lead on-call and incident response, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement post-incident improvements.
- Mentor and onboard new hires and provide technical guidance to application development teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE, including at least 6 years of hands-on Azure DevOps experience.
- Strong experience with Azure App Service, Functions, APIM, Front Door, Load Balancers, VNets, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
- Expertise with Terraform and Bicep/ARM; policy-as-code experience with OPA/Conftest or Azure Policy is beneficial.
- Deep experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and familiarity with GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash, with working knowledge of .NET/C# and Node.js build pipelines.
- Container experience with Docker and Azure Container Registry; Azure IoT Edge experience is a plus.
- Understanding of Entra ID, managed identities, Key Vault patterns, service principals, and RBAC.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting experience across CI/CD, application runtime, networking, and infrastructure layers.
- Experience with patch management, capacity planning, performance engineering, and vulnerability management.
- Ability to drive security remediation programs using Qualys, Mend, and Wiz.
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification is highly desirable; Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, or other Azure certifications are beneficial.
- Nice-to-have experience includes Azure IoT Edge, Azure Arc, policy-as-code, Hyper-V, VMware, on-premises VM migration, Azure Data Factory, Synapse/SQL DW, private endpoints, and Zero Trust networking.
