Responsibilities
- Design and develop ServiceNow solutions, software modules, and functionality for new products and enhancements.
- Customize ITSM modules including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Configuration, and Knowledge Management.
- Write, test, debug, refactor, review, and maintain software code and technical documentation.
- Build and manage ServiceNow integrations, including bidirectional ITSM integrations and integrations with monitoring and management tools.
- Develop workflows, Flow Designer automations, Service Portal functionality, Integration Hub solutions, and ServiceNow scripts and policies.
- Develop microservices, RESTful APIs, and large-scale distributed systems using structured and unstructured data.
- Execute automated testing and contribute to software deployment and continuous delivery.
- Collaborate across engineering and product teams and work with geographically distributed stakeholders.
- Perform ServiceNow instance upgrades, domain-separated instance work, and interactions with ServiceNow support through HI.
Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of software development experience, including at least 4 years of ServiceNow-based development.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Configuration, and Knowledge Management.
- Experience customizing Agent and NOW Mobile applications and working with ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, Service Portal, Integration Hub, Business Rules, Script Includes, Script Actions, UI Actions, UI Policies, Data Policies, Client Scripts, and ACLs.
- Strong ServiceNow integration experience, including H2H bidirectional integrations and integrations with tools such as Splunk, Netcool, SNOW CMDB, SolarWinds, and TrueSight.
- Experience with ServiceNow instance upgrades, domain-separated instances, and ServiceNow HI case interactions.
- Knowledge of or experience with AMDB, Release Management, Survey Management, Virtual Agent, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Agent Workspace, and Walk-up experience.
- Experience with software development, microservices, RESTful APIs, large datasets, ML/AI algorithms, analytics, and data-driven processes.
- Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, and software delivery lifecycle tools.
- Experience working with geo-distributed teams and multiple stakeholders through pilot and production phases.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals and relevant Agile certifications are preferred.
