Responsibilities
- Own and operate the YouTube Live control room.
- Scale the control-room architecture to support multiple client teams.
- Lead and coach the newly created live team in Bengaluru.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in Bengaluru and San Bruno on modern, reliable live-streaming features.
- Scale third-party APIs to support larger third-party ecosystems.
- Contribute across the full technical stack, including C++ backend and web front-end development.],

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience developing mobile applications and backend services in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience with full-stack, client, and front-end engineering and leading consumer-facing product development is preferred, ideally in video.
