Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions.
- Lead teams through software design and delivery while setting development standards.
- Develop and deliver customer-facing UI features using modern frontend technologies.
- Translate product requirements, UX designs, and technical specifications into scalable UI components.
- Build and maintain micro-frontend implementations aligned with product architecture.
- Implement accessible UI components and ensure compliance with WCAG standards.
- Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code and integrate UI components with backend services through REST APIs.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers on requirements and technical approaches.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, troubleshooting, debugging, and production defect resolution.
- Contribute to build, deployment, and release processes using GitHub-based CI/CD workflows.
- Drive improvements in engineering practices, tooling, code quality, and team processes.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required; the posting also lists eight or more years of application development experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI development, and React, including hooks and modern state management patterns.
- Experience with React Native and familiarity with React.js.
- Experience translating design systems and UX artifacts into production-ready UI implementations.
- Experience implementing accessible UI components aligned with WCAG standards.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, such as Cypress.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and working with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of performance optimization, web application security best practices, and agile product development.
- Ability to review product requirements, technical designs, and UX specifications and collaborate across engineering, product, and design.
- B.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience; the posting also specifies 15 years of full-time education.
