Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
- Deliver end-to-end cloud-native, microservices-based application solutions.
- Build scalable, secure, reliable solutions using modern architectural patterns and avoid single points of failure.
- Identify and automate remediation of recurring application and system issues to improve operational stability.
- Lead adoption and validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering and automation practices.
- Establish standards for secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and validation of AI-generated outputs.
- Lead evaluations of vendors, startups, and internal teams for architectural and technical fit.
- Continuously update technologies and patterns while sharing best practices across the team.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and React or comparable modern front-end frameworks.
- Ability to independently solve design and functionality challenges with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript design patterns.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, Sass, and LESS.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and modern software engineering practices.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Preferred presentation, negotiation, mentoring, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
