Responsibilities
- Turn ambiguous product problems into clear, testable specifications with defined success criteria and edge cases.
- Direct AI coding agents through small, verifiable implementation steps and correct or re-steer their output when needed.
- Review, debug, and take ownership of agent-generated code shipped to production.
- Build guardrails, tests, lint rules, and agent constraints that prevent recurring issues.
- Ship medium-to-complex frontend features end-to-end with minimal guidance.
- Develop reusable React components and integrate them reliably with backend systems.
- Support accessible HTML, cross-browser compatibility, frontend performance, and sound architecture.
- Share effective agent workflows and help onboard teammates to good AI development practices.
- Collaborate with Product and peers while challenging unclear requirements and maintaining ownership of delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 3–6 years of frontend software engineering experience.
- Strong React.js knowledge, including component contracts, state management, rendering, and performance behavior.
- Solid understanding of browser parsing, rendering, painting, semantic HTML, and accessibility.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JSON, build tools, and Git.
- Excellent debugging skills and attention to cross-browser compatibility and measurable frontend performance.
- Ability to delegate well-scoped tasks to AI agents, critically review their output, and explain technical trade-offs.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, architectural judgment, and ownership.
