Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and execution for an entire product or significant set of modules.
- Drive large-scale technical projects from inception through delivery and build complex, broadly impactful features.
- Solve complex technical and product problems while delivering scalable, maintainable solutions that meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Lead code reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and address technical debt.
- Improve internal tools and processes, including deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting.
- Mentor and develop engineers and promote technical excellence.
- Share knowledge through mentorship, tech talks, and workshops.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with deep expertise in enterprise SaaS application development.
- Proven experience architecting and designing products or complex features with significant business impact.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and drive technical decision-making.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, and Ruby.
- Experience with Django, Gin, or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Expertise in Ember.js, React.js, or Vue.js, plus deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
- Strong understanding of trade-offs involving product value, reliability, and performance.
- Pragmatic approach to technical decisions aligned with business needs.
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing and receiving constructive feedback.
