Responsibilities
- Partner with public sector counterparts to understand their challenges.
- Design custom models or chains of models using the latest research.
- Collaborate with data annotation teams to create high-quality training datasets.
- Train, optimize, and deploy models in challenging production environments.
- Develop and maintain robust evaluation systems.
- Participate in customer engagements and occasional travel of approximately one week per quarter.
- Share hands-on knowledge to help scale AI capabilities in the public sector.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience training, deploying, evaluating, and maintaining computer vision and/or language models in production environments.
- Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with large-scale AI problems and startup environments is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
- Arabic proficiency is preferred for language model-focused work.
- Published machine learning research in major conferences or journals is preferred.
