Responsibilities

Partner with public sector counterparts to understand their challenges.
Design custom models or chains of models based on the latest research.
Collaborate with data annotation teams to create high-quality training datasets.
Train, optimize, and deploy models in challenging production environments.
Develop and maintain robust evaluation systems.
Participate in customer engagements, including occasional travel.
Contribute to scaling AI capabilities in the public sector through knowledge sharing.

2+ years of experience in computer vision and/or language model training, deployment, evaluation, and maintenance in a production environment.
Master's degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience working at a startup is a plus.
Experience with large-scale AI problems is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Proficiency in Arabic is a plus for language model focus.
Published research in machine learning at significant conferences or journals is desirable.
