Responsibilities
- Explore and assess enhancements to Ipsos’s audio recognition technology.
- Diagnose real-world audio-processing limitations and devise workarounds.
- Explore solutions for upcoming product goals.
- Develop, test, and deliver solutions with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and ongoing algorithm improvement.
- Research and learn new technologies and techniques while helping maintain innovative software solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language, ideally C, C++, Matlab, or Python.
- A good technical degree or higher in Physics, Maths, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Familiarity with common signal-processing techniques and real-world audio-processing issues.
- Experience writing deployable and maintainable software.
- Knowledge of issue or project tracking software such as Jira.
- Strong interest in algorithms and continual algorithm improvement.
- Ability to understand technical systems from first principles and diagnose issues in complex systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation for technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt schedules to changing priorities.
