Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ML infrastructure and pipelines for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Optimize orchestration, resource usage, deployment management, and ML workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop tools for data analysis, experimentation, model versioning, artifact management, and MLOps automation.
- Create monitoring systems to measure model performance, detect model drift, and ensure production model effectiveness.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, data product management, and data platform teams to streamline the ML lifecycle.
- Support data and model governance, risk management, system and data integrity, and confidentiality requirements.
- Provide technical assistance and mentorship, troubleshoot complex issues, and escalate issues as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Science, ML Engineering, or an ML Operations capacity.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with data science and machine learning packages and frameworks.
- Experience with AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD practices, and MLOps tools such as MLflow or Kubeflow.
- Expert understanding of data management, distributed computing, and software architecture principles.
- Proven experience delivering real-time models in production environments.
- Preferred qualifications include additional related education or work experience, hybrid on-premises/cloud experience, Hadoop, Hive, Cloudera, Spark, Scala, and Java experience.
- Successful completion of a background and drug screen is required.

- Base pay varies by location from $118,000–$169,000 in Phoenix/Chicago and $142,000–$203,000 in San Francisco, plus eligibility for a discretionary incentive plan.
