Responsibilities
- Develop administration and monitoring tools that improve the ease of use and security of Firefox in large enterprise deployments.
- Improve Firefox functionality through better integration with remote services.
- Assess team and product roadmap needs and provide recommendations on priorities.
- Provide technical leadership, support engineering teams, build cross-team relationships, and help deliver objectives.
- Collaborate with a geographically distributed development team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing robust services according to modern best practices.
- Strong fundamentals in modularity, abstraction, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in Rust and JavaScript.
- Understanding of SQL and/or non-relational database systems.
- Effective communication and experience working on distributed teams.
- Bonus experience with front-end development, Kubernetes, OIDC/OAuth2, or contributing to an open-source project.
