Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and execution for multiple engineering areas, including applied AI architecture, technology selection, and cross-team integration patterns.
- Design, build, and deliver full-stack services, AI-augmented workflows, intelligent services, and resilient event-driven solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate AI technologies, model APIs, retrieval systems, vector stores, knowledge graphs, workflow engines, and agent frameworks.
- Design durable and observable workflows with orchestration, tools, APIs, business rules, and human-in-the-loop steps.
- Establish production patterns for evaluation, monitoring, governance, testing, quality metrics, safety, fallback behavior, and incident response.
- Collaborate with product, domain experts, analytics partners, and executives to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers and strengthen engineering and product capabilities in applied AI, production evaluation, and responsible deployment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of full-stack development experience using Java, C#, Python, Go, or comparable technologies.
- 4+ years of architecture and design experience.
- 2+ years of production experience with applied AI, generative AI, or intelligent automation, or demonstrable ownership of AI-enabled platform capabilities.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- Extensive experience shipping LLM, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions in production.
- Strong knowledge of agents, retrieval-augmented generation, classical machine learning, rules-based workflows, hybrid approaches, vector retrieval, workflow orchestration, and knowledge/context design.
- Experience building SaaS platforms and full-stack applications and services across client-side and server-side frameworks.
- Expertise designing microservices and event-driven architectures using GraphQL, gRPC, Java, Python, and Kafka, including AI inference, retrieval, and asynchronous agent workflows.
- Fluency in at least two modern object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, C++, or Python.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos, Cassandra, or Apache Trino.
- Knowledge of developer tooling across task management, source code, build, deployment, operations, and real-time communication.
- Fluency in test engineering and automated testing, including evaluation and regression testing for nondeterministic AI components.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
