Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java backend microservices using the Spring Framework.
- Participate in software programming initiatives, code reviews, and full software development lifecycle activities.
- Develop software validation and testing methods using JUnit and Katalon.
- Prototype and deploy solutions on commercial cloud platforms and leverage cloud services.
- Support Agile and SAFe development in coordination with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
- Deploy build artifacts across environments using GitFlow, GitHub, Jenkins, Python, and Bash.
- Apply software development best practices and create solutions for customer technical needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 or more years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 or more years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- Familiarity with Java design patterns, RESTful APIs, service-oriented environments, and software development practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps toolsets and commercial cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Familiarity with cloud data services including S3, RDS, and EFS.
- Familiarity with version control and issue or problem tracking systems.
- Experience or familiarity with the Spring Framework, microservices, relational and NoSQL databases, JUnit, Python, Bash, and software performance testing tools is preferred.
- Experience with Agile and SAFe development practices is preferred.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
