Responsibilities
- Build and scale referral platforms, APIs, onboarding experiences, and reward mechanisms.
- Own the recommendation journey through customers’ first international money needs.
- Develop systems and product experiences for customers worldwide.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers, designers, and other product teams.
- Take independent, end-to-end ownership of customer problems and projects.
- Write testable code and contribute to testing strategies, code reviews, team culture, and process improvements.
- Use customer-focused and data-driven decision-making to improve customer pain points.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Java, Kotlin, or another JVM-based language.
- Strong experience with the Spring framework, relational databases, distributed systems, and concurrent systems such as Kafka.
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing strategies.
- Commitment to best coding practices, code reviews, and open feedback.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A strong product mindset, customer-experience focus, and ability to work independently with end-to-end ownership.
