Responsibilities
- Define QA and test strategies and determine the appropriate balance of automated and manual coverage.
- Establish QA best practices, quality gates, and review checkpoints throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Translate acceptance criteria into test scenarios with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders.
- Design and maintain backend and service-level automated test suites using JUnit.
- Maintain code coverage tracking and reporting using JaCoCo.
- Build and maintain front-end test automation using Karma, Jasmine, and Protractor or their successors.
- Manage test case design, execution, and traceability using TestRail.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with the Platform Engineer.
- Identify test coverage gaps and prioritize valuable automation work.
- Perform manual exploratory testing and report test coverage, quality metrics, and risk status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering.
- Experience defining QA and test strategies across automated and manual testing.
- Experience with JUnit, JaCoCo, Karma, Jasmine, Protractor, and TestRail.
- Ability to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and communicate quality risks clearly to stakeholders.
