Responsibilities
- Modernize legacy frontend codebases, including Backbone.js applications, into scalable React architectures.
- Design, build, and maintain responsive, reusable, and customizable UI components for desktop and mobile environments.
- Integrate backend services into interactive client-server applications using React state management and hooks.
- Build and test applications for Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility compliance.
- Write unit, integration, and regression tests using Jest, React Testing Library, Jasmine, and JUnit.
- Collaborate remotely with Product Management, Design, and Backend Engineering teams using Git, Jira, Slack, and pair programming.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience in frontend software development, focused on React.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JSON, and Bootstrap or similar UI frameworks.
- Solid understanding of React fundamentals, including hooks, component lifecycle, and state management strategies.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
- Experience using Git for version control.
