Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy source code and infrastructure/application configurations for AI/ML, agentic AI, and large-scale data-processing components.
- Build intelligent AI agents supporting planning, tool use, multi-agent collaboration, and complex reasoning tasks.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and real-time ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Debug and support deployed AI/ML models, data pipelines, and applications for the L3 support team.
- Conduct peer reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and evaluations of deterministic ETL pipelines and non-deterministic AI outputs.
- Implement architectural changes and integrate software components according to integration strategy, MLOps, and DataOps guidelines.
- Analyze root causes involving cognitive pipelines, data bottlenecks, model drift, and performance degradation.
- Optimize queries, PySpark jobs, latency, context windows, and operating costs across AI/ML and data systems.
- Develop CI/CD routines and perform releases to non-production, management-controlled environments where applicable.
- Create training materials, user guides, and deployment instructions for AI and data systems.
- Collaborate across the software development lifecycle, MLOps, and data lifecycle, while assisting junior team members where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or Software Engineering, with a minor in Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong Python and PySpark development skills.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, and robust ETL/ELT pipeline design.
- Strong knowledge of GCP AI/ML and data services, including Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Agent Builder, and Document AI.
- Knowledge of Gemini, GitHub Copilot, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and frameworks for multi-agent systems and RAG pipelines.
- Understanding of machine learning and deep learning, supervised and unsupervised learning, model fine-tuning, and evaluation metrics.
- Knowledge of Terraform and workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow or Vertex AI Pipelines.
- Experience or knowledge of MLOps, DataOps, model registries, feature stores, model monitoring, data-quality frameworks, and vector databases.
- Knowledge of HP ALM, Jira, ServiceNow, SDLC, and Agile processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and knowledge-sharing abilities, with fluent written and verbal English.
- Understanding of financial-services business processes and applicable AI, data-privacy, compliance, and risk guidelines.
- Ability to work in virtual and matrixed teams, manage competing priorities, and apply responsible judgment when using AI and data.
