Responsibilities
- Engineer scalable, robust software that interacts with networking devices.
- Design and implement software for stores management systems and payload subsystems.
- Architect and implement software APIs and Interface Control Documents.
- Build and optimize low-level data transport over UDP and TCP.
- Write code that interfaces directly with hardware and sensors.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, vehicle, and payload teams.
- Travel up to 25% to test and deploy systems in operational environments.
- Contribute across the entire software lifecycle, including testing and deployment.
- Analyze and resolve issues in deployed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of experience developing production-grade software in C++ and/or Rust.
- Experience with networking software and common router or switch hardware.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing software APIs and ICDs.
- Solid understanding of low-level data transport layers, including UDP and TCP.
- Experience writing code that interfaces with hardware.
- Ability to navigate and contribute to complex systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for system testing and deployment.
- Experience working with international suppliers and customers in the EMEA region.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
