Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, production-grade Python services leveraging LLMs and agentic architectures
- Build robust agent workflows and orchestration patterns for complex business processes in regulated enterprise environments
- Develop reliable AI-enabled backend systems with orchestration layers, tool integrations, knowledge access, and observability
- Design retrieval strategies, semantic indexing, and structured interfaces to enterprise data sources
- Apply testing, CI/CD, monitoring, structured logging, and prompt and model versioning practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications and workflows
- Translate stakeholder requirements into secure, compliant, and scalable AI-driven solutions
- Contribute to architecture decisions involving agent orchestration, reasoning workflows, knowledge access, and model integration
- Optionally contribute to AI application user interfaces using Angular or React
- Ensure systems meet enterprise security, reliability, and compliance standards
Requirements
- Fluency in English and in Dutch or French
- At least five years of professional experience building enterprise-grade Python applications
- Production experience designing and deploying agentic or LLM-powered systems
- Strong experience applying large language models to automation, information retrieval, and decision-support problems
- Experience designing agentic architectures with orchestration, tool usage, planning workflows, and system-level reasoning
- Experience building LLM systems with reasoning, tool access, and dynamic information retrieval
- Deep proficiency in Python, including modern frameworks, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience developing production APIs and backend services integrated with enterprise systems and data sources
- Experience building reliable AI systems beyond prototypes, including testing, monitoring, evaluation, and operational stability
