Responsibilities
- Implement features and bug fixes in backend services and application components using Go, Java, or Python.
- Write unit and integration tests and improve test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews as both reviewer and author.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on design and planning discussions.
- Debug and resolve issues in development and staging environments.
- Contribute to documentation, code hygiene, reliability, developer productivity, and platform quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with consideration for coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- 3–5 years of professional experience writing and shipping production code.
- Solid working proficiency in at least one of Go, Java, or Python.
- Ability to independently implement well-defined features and bug fixes with minimal guidance.
- Foundation in data structures, algorithms, clean code, unit testing, integration testing, documentation, and maintainability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, break down tasks, participate in technical discussions, receive feedback, and own assigned work through delivery.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, backend communication patterns, CI/CD workflows, DevOps workflows, observability tooling, or backend/platform internships or co-ops.
