Base Salary
$91k - $136k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead test strategies, plans, designs, scenarios, cases, automation, and execution for medium- to high-complexity initiatives.
- Ensure traceability between business requirements, acceptance criteria, test outcomes, and business objectives.
- Perform manual functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, performance, reliability, accessibility, and security testing as appropriate.
- Identify, document, troubleshoot, and mitigate defects, risks, and testing gaps.
- Lead test architecture activities and implement testing tools, frameworks, processes, and reusable test assets across multiple delivery teams.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration, delivery, and testing pipelines.
- Manage test data, virtualization of incomplete services or databases, and automated test-data provisioning.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor and coach Quality Engineers on quality engineering, BDD, TDD, and testing best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement, quality metrics, knowledge sharing, and proactive defect prevention.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in manual functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into test scenarios and test cases.
- Experience with test planning, design, automation, execution, test architecture, defect management, and quality reporting.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Proficiency with quality management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and JTMF.
- Advanced debugging, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to independently lead testing efforts and influence quality outcomes across multiple teams.
- Preferred experience with Encompass, residential mortgage, and/or home equity lending.
- Strong academic background in software engineering or computer science is preferred.
