Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and manage automated tests covering front-end and back-end applications.
- Develop and execute functional automated and manual tests to validate application software against user needs.
- Work within a multi-skilled agile team and provide an excellent client experience.
- Improve testing processes and perform non-functional testing.
- Contribute to a continuous integration environment using relevant tools and version control systems.
- Produce assurance artifacts such as test plans, reports, and metrics when required.
- Test APIs, microservices, and databases, including use of SQL.
Requirements
- Proven ability to learn a new business domain or architecture quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrable experience creating and managing automated tests with Selenium, Cypress, or REST Assured.
- Experience with cloud architecture and participation in an agile team.
- Experience working in a continuous integration environment with Jenkins and/or TeamCity.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Understanding of fundamental testing and quality assurance concepts, with demonstrable experience improving testing processes.
- Knowledge or experience in at least one type of non-functional testing.
- Desirable experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Desirable experience producing test plans, reports, or metrics.
- Desirable experience testing APIs, microservices, databases, and using SQL.
