Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and manage automated tests covering front-end and back-end applications.
- Execute functional, automated, and manual tests to validate application software against user needs.
- Contribute to testing within a cloud architecture and continuous integration environment.
- Improve testing processes and apply fundamental testing and quality assurance practices.
- Perform or support non-functional testing.
- Produce assurance artifacts such as test plans, reports, and metrics.
- Test APIs, microservices, and databases, including use of SQL.
- Communicate technical details to non-technical audiences and provide an excellent client experience.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to learn new business domains or architectures quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.
- Experience creating and managing automated tests using Selenium, Cypress, or REST Assured.
- Experience with cloud architecture and working as part of an agile team.
- Experience in a continuous integration environment using Jenkins and/or TeamCity.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Knowledge of testing and quality assurance fundamentals, with experience improving testing processes.
- Knowledge or experience in at least one type of non-functional testing.
- Desirable: experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Desirable: experience producing test plans, reports, or metrics.
- Desirable: experience testing APIs, microservices, databases, and using SQL.
