Responsibilities
- Architect test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Develop automated functional UI and API tests.
- Integrate automated scripts into CI/CD processes and maintain testing infrastructure.
- Lead code reviews, establish quality standards, and guide team members.
- Define quality metrics and measure testing effectiveness, efficiency, and product quality.
- Analyze test results, report product stability, and automate manual testing processes.
- Manage and mitigate testing risks, onboard new team members, and improve testing and release workflows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional QA automation experience in web and backend/API testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing methods, techniques, types, and methodologies.
- Experience creating or maintaining test documentation such as test strategies and test plans.
- Experience with Linux, shell scripting, Python, and bash.
- Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch and solid knowledge of Python programming patterns and principles.
- Experience integrating test reporting processes and using UI and REST API automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Request.
- Familiarity with Pytest, Robot, BDD, ATDD, TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous integration tools.
- Hands-on Docker experience and experience working in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
- Desirable qualifications include GCP knowledge, microservices API test automation, storage networking knowledge, mobile automation, cloud device farms, message brokers, SQL and NoSQL databases, and additional programming languages.
