Responsibilities
- Manage and automate Azure, Datadog, NGINX, and Cloudflare infrastructure.
- Develop and monitor Kubernetes and serverless resources.
- Write, manage, and optimize infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi, CRDs, and Crossplane.
- Improve platform performance, application architecture, systems, processes, and stakeholder solutions.
- Design solutions that reduce toil, automate repetitive tasks, and improve team productivity.
- Create SLIs and SLOs, improve application visibility, and align with Product on SLAs and service objectives.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineers on automated solutions and delivery pipelines.
- Optimize infrastructure and pipelines to improve user experience.
- Support CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, and Flux.
- Lead incident troubleshooting to protect customer experience.
Requirements
- Experience managing a public cloud, with Azure experience advantageous.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Octopus, Flux, or other CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Linux and Microsoft systems.
- Experience contributing to infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
- Experience with cloud monitoring solutions; Datadog experience is advantageous.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with at least one scripting language, such as Python, PowerShell, or Go.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams in an agile environment.
