Responsibilities
- Provide recommendations about capacity allocation considering cost, resilience, and performance.
- Collaborate with product teams to improve systems performance and reliability.
- Develop software using Go, Python, or similar languages.
- Automate cloud infrastructure and incident response processes.
- Create playbooks for actionable alerts.
- Participate in incident response and root cause investigations.
- Maintain and develop infrastructure as code for lifecycle operations.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to prevent and investigate production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Programming skills in Go, Python, or similar languages.
- 3+ years of experience in data structures, algorithms, and programming.
- 3+ years of experience building scalable and distributed cloud services.
- 3+ years of experience operating production environments.
- 2+ years of experience in cross-team collaboration.
- Self-driven and motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Systematic problem-solving approach with effective communication skills.
- Experience being on-call.
