Base Salary
$97k - $127k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with senior leaders to scope and design Appian solutions aligned with client expectations and business needs.
- Lead Scrum teams in delivering software solutions on schedule and contribute as a member of the software delivery team.
- Develop Appian and BPM applications, including requirements discovery, data modeling, integrations, and architecture.
- Perform code reviews, identify logic and scalability issues, recommend refactoring, and influence coding guidelines.
- Mentor junior Appian developers and help develop their technical and leadership capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, or computer science.
- 4–6 years of experience working on software development engagements, preferably with Appian.
- At least 2 years of experience leading software development teams implementing Appian.
- Experience with databases and system integration, including advanced analysis of tables and views, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and explain plans.
- CompTIA Security+ certification required by the first day of employment; candidates may complete it after interviewing but before starting.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and strong communication and mentorship skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Appian Level 2 certification, Scrum training, SQL, performance tools, automation testing, external systems and APIs, and experience with requirements discovery, data modeling, BPM application design, and code reviews.
