- Integrate third-party billing, partner systems, and other systems that require cross-system coordination.
- Develop product-agnostic usage and consumption reporting with strong correctness requirements.
- Build internal tooling and the services and interfaces used by expert platform operators.
- Improve platform maintainability, reliability, automation, and self-service workflows.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for the control-plane services owned by the team.
Requirements

- Ability to reason across multiple interacting systems, including failure modes, system boundaries, and consistency.
- Experience designing APIs and contracts used by other teams, including versioning, backward compatibility, and deprecation.
- Experience with asynchronous and event-driven systems, idempotency, retries, partial failure, and eventual consistency.
- Ability to debug complex issues involving networking, performance, data integrity, and security boundaries.
- Self-directed approach to ambiguous problems and ability to drive work through completion.
- Ability to become productive quickly in unfamiliar languages; the current services are primarily written in Go.
- Preferred experience with production Go, reconciliation or controller-pattern systems, Kubernetes operators, Terraform providers, provisioning or deployment control planes, schema/configuration systems, metering, usage reporting, or internal tools.
