Base Salary
$157k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Stripe's engineering teams.
- Build software infrastructure, including developing, testing, and deploying it.
- Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
- Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine design feasibility.
- Collaborate with engineers to build new features at large-scale and improve engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 year of Software Engineering experience.
- 1 year of experience with Python, Java, and Go programming languages.
- 1 year of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- 1 year of experience implementing industry standard design patterns.
- 1 year of experience building distributed backend applications at scale.
- 1 year of experience in building low latency systems.

- Salary range of $156,800 - $235,200 per year.
