Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and internal tools for risk strategy.
- Contribute to reusable platform primitives for launching new credit products.
- Build and improve workflows for Credit Risk teams to adjust strategies.
- Integrate third-party data sources and implement data validation.
- Add instrumentation, dashboards, and alerts for key risk signals.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to learn best practices.
- Identify reliability and scalability improvements and drive them to completion.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience in a production environment.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or comparable frameworks.
- Familiarity with relational databases and caching systems.
- Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
- Strong appreciation for maintainable, well-tested code.
- Comfort in cross-team collaboration to clarify requirements.
- Interest in data-driven systems and integrating external data sources.
