Base Salary
$128k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance on BMC Remedy/Helix application and integration capabilities.
- Gather and document requirements and prepare design documentation, implementation guides, test scripts, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Develop Helix workflows, forms, fields, integrations, data import files, and Digital Workplace service offerings.
- Develop and maintain REST API, web service, LDAP, and other integrations between Helix and external systems.
- Work incident assignments, communicate with customers, create change requests and Jira stories, and support customer onboarding and sustainment activities.
- Maintain and update production environments while following configuration control, change management, and operating procedures.
- Manage sprint workloads, deadlines, technical debt, product demonstrations, and continual service improvement initiatives.
- Participate in on-call rotations, daily scrums, sprint planning, technical implementation reviews, and approved service interruption windows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development or related experience.
- BMC Accredited Administrator certification or commensurate Remedy/Helix Developer Studio experience.
- Experience with BMC Remedy version 23.x or higher and Helix application process flows.
- Experience with SaaS solutions or AWS Cloud environments.
- Expert familiarity with one or more Helix applications, including incident, knowledge, change, task, release, service-level, service-request, work-order, reporting, dashboard, Digital Workplace, CMDB, or asset-management applications.
- Experience with Pentaho Spoon, BMC HDM, REST APIs, or web services for system interfaces or data migration.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret security clearance before starting; US citizenship is required.
- CompTIA Security+ CE certification, which may be obtained within three months of the start date.
- BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
- Ability to communicate professionally, gather and document customer requirements, analyze data, create process flows, troubleshoot through logging, and manage multiple projects.
- Experience with relational databases, networking concepts, OSI rules, customer demonstrations, remote teamwork, and document management.
- Preferred qualifications include ITIL Foundation, other Helix applications, Agile project methodology, Jira story management, and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
