Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or GCP.
- Manage Docker-based containerized workloads and Kubernetes orchestration across multiple environments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and operational automation using Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Python, and/or Go.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
- Integrate automated testing and security scanning into delivery pipelines using tools such as Cypress and Pact.js.
- Configure cloud networking, ingress, traffic management, service mesh, identity, secrets, encryption, and least-privilege security controls.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability with tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues, support incident resolution and root cause analysis, and improve reliability and operational resilience.
- Analyze utilization and performance data to optimize cloud resources, costs, capacity, and scaling.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, architecture input, and DevOps support to engineering teams and clients.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP services and networking components.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and configuration-management or automation tools.
- Experience with Splunk and other logging or monitoring tools.
- Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience integrating QA tools including Cypress and Pact.js.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or similar are desirable.
