Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability of datastores through observability, automation, and process improvement.
- Handle database infrastructure maintenance including upgrades and performance optimization.
- Participate in incident response for datastore-related issues during business hours.
- Empower feature teams with database tooling, guidelines, and training.
- Stay updated on datastore technology evolution and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- Experience with multiple types of datastores and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Involvement in architecture choices for high traffic web applications.
- Comfortable with Linux systems administration and performance troubleshooting.
