Base Salary
$200k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software in an agile, test-driven environment using flexible pair programming.
- Collaborate with product and design partners to shape the application.
- Direct technical decisions involving application and data model design.
- Maintain stable and performant application stacks and deliver quality code aligned with business goals.
- Lead technical decision-making and mentor engineers.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve critical system issues and improve system reliability and availability.
- Use AI developer tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and automate routine tasks.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of production experience with Ruby on Rails or another open-source language such as Python, Golang, or JavaScript.
- Staff-level engineering experience with technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and engineer mentoring.
- Must reside in the United States.
