Base Salary

$168k - $227k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of large-scale software initiatives for the CS Knowledge platform.
  • Architect and develop robust, scalable services serving millions of concurrent users and billions of requests.
  • Drive software development standards, testing, debugging, and the use of AI-enhanced development tools.
  • Partner with stakeholders across teams and serve as the primary point of contact for project deliverables.
  • Propose and implement projects and system improvements with measurable quality, performance, and cost goals.
  • Provide technical leadership and maintain direct ownership of key system components.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
