Responsibilities
- Design and lead implementation of high-performance, scalable, and observable system changes for global ad display and tracking.
- Develop, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain Java and Python HTTP/gRPC services and batch jobs, including production configuration and environments.
- Build tools and optimizations that improve critical user performance metrics.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for complex system challenges, project planning, scoping, and code reviews.
- Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, availability, and operation of production distributed systems.
Requirements
- Excellent understanding of complex IT systems across hardware, software, and algorithms.
- Very good knowledge of Internet protocols and technologies including DNS, HTTP, and cookies.
- Good knowledge of concurrent programming and distributed systems, from thread-level concurrency to geo-distributed clusters.
- Practical ability to observe, monitor, and analyze production systems.
- Ability to evaluate theoretical and actual system performance and resolve production performance problems.
- General knowledge of high scalability and high availability issues and solutions.
- C1-level English and Polish language skills.
- Experience in AdTech or Real-Time Bidding is preferred.
- Experience contributing to Real User Monitoring systems is preferred.
