Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and design of inference and training AI infrastructure from the SRE perspective.
- Drive AI-first development and introduce new approaches to improve the team’s work.
- Lead on-call responses to production incidents, conduct blameless postmortems, and implement preventative measures.
- Partner with development teams and senior technical leads to ensure AI-powered Workspace features are reliable, scalable, and efficient.
- Collaborate with SRE leaders across product teams to develop and broadly adopt scalable solutions across Google.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 4 years of experience leading projects and providing technical leadership.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience with machine learning or AI in a software development environment.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
