Responsibilities
- Define and refine effective software development practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Coach and empower junior engineers to take ownership of larger projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision and scope.
- Plan and forecast quarterly goals including tech debt and new features.
- Champion the software development lifecycle from requirements to production support.
- Engage in full-stack development to advance Cribl Cloud.
- Participate in on-call duties and embrace service ownership.
Requirements
- Proficient in writing clean, maintainable full-stack code using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience in large-scale distributed systems and SaaS platforms.
- Skilled in developing resilient backend services on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Familiar with developing secure RESTful APIs.
- Knowledgeable in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Experienced in secure web development practices and performance tuning.
- Proficient with testing frameworks like Mocha, Cypress, and Jest.
- Self-starter with minimal supervision and a quick learning ability.
- Detail-oriented and dedicated to high-quality software.
- Experienced with CI/CD pipelines such as BitBucket and Jenkins.
- Familiar with cloud design patterns and serverless implementations.
- Experienced in implementing Authentication & Authorization solutions.
