Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of complex software features and components.
- Design scalable, maintainable, secure solutions aligned with product and architectural goals.
- Own significant functional areas and improve long-term software quality and maintainability.
- Review code, establish coding standards, and promote engineering best practices.
- Mentor developers through coaching, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, QA, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead technical investigations, proof-of-concepts, and evaluations of technologies and tools.
- Drive improvements to software architecture, development processes, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and automation.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, architectural discussions, Agile ceremonies, estimation, and delivery improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, jQuery or similar front-end frameworks, and Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control systems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and enterprise application design.
- Experience mentoring developers and conducting constructive code reviews.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Java certifications, Struts Framework, MongoDB, Lucene, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and development-process improvement experience are desirable.
