Responsibilities
- Own and extend the in-house Kubernetes-native test framework that boots configurations, runs containerized checks on real hosts, validates outcomes, and records structured results.
- Expand framework coverage into HPC, fabric verification, Slurm-on-Kubernetes, firmware, and hardware validation.
- Build test harnesses and CI infrastructure while maintaining fast, hermetic, trustworthy pipelines.
- Improve boot consistency, per-host resource locking, and flaky-test elimination across fleet-scale validation.
- Own structured test results, storage, dashboards, and engineer-facing triage workflows end to end.
- Explore LLM-driven log triage, failure classification, and regression detection.
- Collaborate with firmware, kernel, imaging, and HPC teams to embed testing into release processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building test infrastructure, systems software, or platform tooling at scale.
- Fluency in Python and either proven Rust experience or a strong systems background in Go, C, or C++ with willingness to build in Rust.
- Experience operating in Kubernetes and understanding how software is built, containerized, deployed, and tested.
- Strong Linux systems knowledge, including boot chains, kernels, drivers, low-level debugging, and hardware-adjacent work.
- Experience building test automation that validates systems, with strong practices around flakiness, hermeticity, and test signal.
- Clear communication skills and a product-oriented approach to building frameworks for other engineers.
- Preferred experience with Rust and Kubernetes-native workflow orchestration such as Argo Workflows.
- Preferred HPC or large-cluster experience, including InfiniBand, RoCE, GPU or accelerator validation, or performance-regression frameworks.
- Preferred Slurm or Slurm-on-Kubernetes experience.
- Preferred firmware or lower-level hardware validation experience.
- Preferred experience applying LLMs to testing workflows, including triage, failure classification, or flaky-test detection.
- Open-source contributions to test frameworks, Rust crates, or systems projects are preferred.
- The position requires eligibility to access export-controlled information under applicable U.S. Government regulations.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance fully paid by CoreWeave for US-based full-time employees.
- Company-paid life insurance, supplemental life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, FSA, and HSA.
- Tuition reimbursement and eligibility to participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Program.
- Mental wellness benefits through Spring Health and family-forming support through Carrot.
- Paid parental leave and flexible full-service childcare support through Kinside.
- 401(k) with employer match and flexible PTO.
- Catered lunch at office and data center locations, with a casual work environment.
- US-based benefits vary for roles in other locations and are shared during the hiring process.
- The role requires access to export-controlled information and may require U.S. person status or export authorization.
