Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications and solutions across a multi-technology stack.
- Collaborate with distributed onshore engineering teams to deliver features, resolve defects, and integrate solutions.
- Support critical production systems by addressing performance, resilience, and reliability needs.
- Participate in Scrum and SAFe delivery activities, including sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, automation, process improvements, and enterprise controls.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Java backend development and relational databases, particularly Oracle.
- Experience with the Spring Boot framework.
- Knowledge of TDD and BDD testing frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Angular and JavaScript frontend technologies.
- Familiarity with SQL scripting and data handling.
- Exposure to DevOps tooling and Agile/Scrum environments, ideally SAFe.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, and distributed-team collaboration skills.
- Desirable experience with REST, messaging, event-driven solutions, security mechanisms, payment or financial services systems, and high-availability platforms.
