Responsibilities
- Design, develop, optimize, and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms, applications, and infrastructure solutions.
- Build and maintain AWS cloud-native environments using Kubernetes/EKS, AWS Lambda, cloud databases, and containerized applications.
- Develop infrastructure automation, cloud platform solutions, application deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, networking, security, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with software engineering and operations teams to integrate and deploy AI models and applications.
- Drive developer experience improvements, platform reliability, cloud governance, cost optimization, and operational resilience.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, AI research, trusted AI practices, and cloud engineering advancements.
- Act independently on complex technical challenges and champion engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure operations, or platform engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Python-based automation.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working with GitHub.
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, cloud databases, distributed systems, and containerized applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, networking, security best practices, and performance optimization.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and deploying AI solutions in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of trusted AI, data privacy, security, ethical considerations, cloud governance, cost optimization, and operational resilience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- AWS and/or Kubernetes certifications are preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps practices and Scrum/Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, interact with senior executives, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
