Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver performant, reliable, scalable AI agents for production use.
- Own the agent development lifecycle from initial pilot through deployment, tuning, and continuous iteration.
- Partner directly with large enterprises and startups to understand business challenges and build AI agent solutions.
- Develop generalizable, industry-specific agent frameworks and experiment with voice models at enterprise scale.
- Prototype new agent architectures, self-service capabilities, and generative agent development tools.
- Surface customer needs and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A builder’s mindset, high agency, creativity, and ability to ship solutions.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Genuine interest in financial services and improving customer experience.
- Experience with financial technology, financial institution implementations, work inside financial institutions, or financial services security and compliance requirements is a strong plus.
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production is preferred.
- Founder or founding engineer experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering is preferred.
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is preferred.
- Previous customer-facing work or leadership of technical projects with external stakeholders is preferred.
